It is not every day you get to pause and reflect on how far a creative project has come, but today is one of those days! 

I recently sat down to update the guest directory for my projects, Tarot Interviews and Tarot DMs, and realized we’ve hit a pretty wonderful milestone: we have officially featured over 70 guests and contributors. For those new to the project, the premise is simple but revealing: a three-card, three-question format used to interview writers, artists, musicians, and cultural figures.

Over the course of 70+ interviews, this format has adapted into two spaces:

  • Tarot Interviews: A traditional audio podcast format.
  • Tarot DMs: Written interviews conducted entirely through messaging apps.

The most rewarding part of this journey has been the sheer diversity of the people who have agreed to sit down (or log on) and pull cards with me. We have spoken with internationally bestselling authors like Joanne Harris and Adrian Tchaikovsky, brilliant narrative designers, historians, and musicians. We have even taken the format on the road, interviewing festival crew members, artisan blacksmiths, and performers right in the middle of muddy fields!
