About Finbarre Snarey

Book me for a cheerful chat about tarot! I have thirty years of experience reading the cards and I'm happy to talk about tarot as a divination tool, a piece of living culture, a random story generator or the wider history of the cards. I can help listeners think about tarot in a way that is accessible. Think of it as analogue AI!

My natural fit is with creativity, writing, arts and culture, or gaming podcasts. I have a quiet recording space with a boom-mounted Shure MV7.

Over the last year I have been running the Tarot Interviews podcast and the Tarot DMs Substack, and decided it was time to discover what life is like on the other side of the mic.

I have been involved in broadcasting since 2005. My speaking voice is clear and neutrally English, with one of those accents that is tricky to place and easy to edit. Transcription software likes me. Thanks to regular recording sessions with complete strangers, I am very used to thinking quickly on my feet and can bring a bright spontaneity to your show.

Very intelligent guest with plenty of interesting and personal anecdotes. I really enjoyed his expertise and perspective. Not only is he an expert in his field, he's got a great sense of humour and natural abilty to banter (in a fancy accent too!)
